The 2019 Herb Brooks Foundation Spring clinics wrapped up at Parade Ice Garden this past Sunday. With just over 140 kids participating between Minneapolis and St. Paul locations, players worked on a variety of skills including, skating, stick handling, passing, and shooting.

In St. Paul, the HBF once again partnered with Athletes Committed to Educating Students (ACES) to provide learn to skate opportunities for over 20 students in the program.

Spring sessions were led by HBF Director of Hockey, Joe Dziedzic, HBF coach, Rick McKelvie, and HBF Program Director, Kalli Funk. There were also student volunteers from Minneapolis and Hill-Murray high schools.

The HBF clinics are free to participate in and skates, helmets, and sticks are provided to those who need equipment. Thank you to TRIA Rink and Parade Ice Garden for continuing to help grow the game of hockey.
