The 2021 St. Paul Summer Clinics came to an end Monday, wrapping up what was a successful summer of on-ice clinics. For the last few weeks, over 40 local children took the ice at the Charles M. Schulz - Highland Arena for six training sessions.

With the help from coach Rick McKelvie and volunteers from the Hill-Murray and Johnson High School hockey teams, children gained experience in skating, power skating, and various hockey skills that will help with their development.

The Herb Brooks Foundation now looks forward to the next upcoming event, “Girls Try Hockey for Free.” This free event will take place Friday, September 10th from 6:40pm-7:40pm and Saturday, September 11th from 11:00am-12:00pm at Pleasant Arena in St. Paul. Children between the ages of four and ten will be able to learn the basics of hockey with assistance from coaches and volunteers.
