Herb Brooks Foundation Announces Spring Clinic Dates and Locations

The Herb Brooks Foundation will host spring clinics at Charles M. Schulz-Highland Arena in St. Paul and Parade Ice Garden in Minneapolis.  


The Herb Brooks Foundation, in cooperation with Morrie’s Automotive Group, the Minneapolis Police Activity League, the St. Paul Police Activity League, the Minneapolis boys' high school hockey team, and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, will conduct spring hockey clinics at Charles M. Schulz-Highland Arena and Parade Ice Garden.

In St. Paul the clinics will be held on March 24, 31, and April 7. Learn to Skate will be held from 11:00 am-12:00 pm with Learn to Play Hockey following from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm each day.

In Minneapolis the clinics will be held on April 8, 15, and 22. Learn to Skate will be held from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm with Learn to Play Hockey following from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm each day.

This free program is designed to provide young skaters ages 4-13 the basics of hockey in a safe and fun environment under the direction of professional coaches.

  • Learn to Skate aims to teach the fundamentals of skating while gradually introducing different elements of hockey. This clinic is geared towards participants ages 4-9.
  • Learn to Play Hockey is geared toward those who already have a skating foundation and are looking to learn or improve their hockey skills. This clinic is geared towards participants ages 8-13.

The Herb Brooks Foundation provides helmets, sticks, and skates to those who need it at no cost. To register follow the registration links below.
