The Herb Brooks Foundation (HBF) is partnering with the Minneapolis Park Board to introduce rollerblading to the city of Minneapolis.

Partnering with the Minneapolis Park Board’s Youthline Outreach Mentorship program, the HBF will be hosting Fundamental Rollerblading at Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis. Under the leadership of HBF coaches, participants will work on starting, stopping, and turning on rollerblades. Youth will then practice rollerblading on the Powderhorn Park trails.

Starting on June 12th, the class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays and run through the end of June. The class is free for all participants and equipment will be supplied free of charge.

Class dates: June 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28 from 10:00-11:15 am.
