The Herb Brooks Foundation runs and supports numerous programs in the state of Minnesota and beyond.
This program is run in conjunction with Minneapolis Public Schools, the Saint Paul Police Activities League and Ramsey County. The program is designed to give inner city children the chance to play hockey.
The Herb Brooks Foundation, in cooperation with Morrie’s Automotive Group, the Minnesota Wild, and the Saint Paul Police Activities League, conducts Hockey Clinics in both Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
This year the Herb Brooks Foundation will host clinics at 3 different St. Paul Arenas in January and February. Harding Arena, Gustafson-Phalen Arena, and the new MN Wild Tria Rink will each host around 60 participants for Learn to Skate and Learn to Play hockey clinics.
The Herb Brooks Foundation, in cooperation with the Morrie’s Automotive Group, the Minneapolis Police Activity League, the Minneapolis boys' high school hockey team, and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, conduct a Spring Hockey Clinic at the Parade Ice Garden in Minneapolis. This free program is designed to provide young skaters the basics of hockey in a safe and fun environment under the direction of professional coaches. Check back in February for more details!
Thanks to grant from the Minnesota Wild Foundation, and the support of Morrie's Automotive Group, the Herb Brooks Foundation offered 2017 summer hockey and skating clinics in both St. Paul and Minneapolis. These clinics were held at Charles M. Schulz Highland Arena in St. Paul and Augsburg Ice Arena in Minneapolis in the month of July.
The purpose of the Scholarship Fund is to grow the game of hockey by providing financial help to players and teams for the advancement of individual and team skills.
